Veterinary Referrals
At Gillies Grove Animal Hospital, we are able to cater for most of your pet’s needs as a full-service veterinary centre. That being said, there are some cases where we may refer you to other specialists in the area. For example, a mobile veterinary unit stops by our facilities on occasion to handle complex orthopedic cases. How do I get a referral for your hospital?
Your primary veterinarian will need to provide a formal referral letter. Their hospital will usually send us your pet’s information ahead of time.
How do I prepare for my pet’s referral appointment?
No need to worry! Before your scheduled consultation, we will brief you on everything that you may need to bring and measures that you may need to take in preparations for the checkup (e.g. food and water restriction).
